Inspiring Future Builders with Heron Bros!

We had a fantastic time at our event with Heron Bros Building Merchants and St Mary's PS Draperstown last week!

Heron Bros. kindly invited us and St Mary's to learn about their work and discuss possible construction careers further down the line. The kids read "Molly in Construction" and engaged in exciting LEGO construction games, learning about different job roles, health and safety and the importance of communication!

Our #NotJustForBoys team spoke to the students about their programme and we met some of the Heron Bros. team who answered lots of questions about their jobs and helped the pupils with their games.

A big thank you to Heron Bros. for fostering an interest in careers in construction from an early age, and to St. Mary's for taking part! 🌟
