🌟 A Week in the Life of the Building Futures Programme! 🌟

It’s #BuildingFuturesFriday and what an exciting and productive week we had at WOMEN'STEC with our programme in full swing! Here's a sneak peek into what our students have been up to:

Monday: Our Make It! Make Crafts, Make Money course, in partnership with Women in Business NI, got underway. 🎨💼 The creative energy was flowing as students learned how to turn their crafting talents into potential income streams.

Tuesday: After last week's inspiring site visit to Braidwater, our Gardening class is back in action. 🌱 Check out our #ChampionTuesday post from earlier this week to see how they got on, planting trees on a live site.

Wednesday: Spreadsheets anyone? 📊 Our Spreadsheet Training course continued, empowering our students with essential digital skills to boost their employability. 🛠️ On top of that, our Killough DIY class is in full swing with students learning new skills every week! With classes continuing, participants are gaining hands-on skills in home maintenance and repair, ready to take on any DIY task at home.

Thursday: We welcomed the first session of our Personal Development course! The participants are beginning their journey of self-discovery, gaining tools to build confidence and achieve personal goals. Plus, we celebrated with Bolster Community in Mullaghbawn at their amazing Time For Me event, it was a great chance for future participants to learn more about Building Futures and ask the team questions, plus we heard from some amazing participants about their time on the course! ⭐

It’s been a fantastic week full of learning, creativity, and skill-building. We’re so proud of the progress our students are making!
