New Safety Procedures

As the pandemic continues to restrict what we can and cannot do, WOMEN’STEC is working hard to ensure that we can continue to deliver courses to our students in a safe way. Here’s what you need to know:

We are fortunate to have a large building with multiple entrances and exits (our building was previously a primary school). This has enabled us to have a limited number of people taking part in classes. To facilitate this, we have carried out a full risk assessment of the premises and a risk assessment for every activity and class. We have implemented COVID-19 procedures including:

  • a regular and thorough cleaning schedule before and after any activity
  • social distancing of 2m in most areas (where this is not possible people are asked to wear face masks
  • a maximum capacity for each room depending on the size and layout of the room to ensure people can be at least 2m apart
  • hand sanitising stations are available throughout the premises, and groups are directed to a different entrance and exit point to ensure there is no gathering in doorways

Upon entering the building, we ask everyone to complete a questionnaire confirming they are free of any of the symptoms of COVID-19.

We understand that in these uncertain times, it can be challenging but be assured that we are doing our utmost to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone in our building.

If you have any queries about our COVID-19 policy, please call the office on 02890 749 810 or email vilma.bisson@womenstec.org
